Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad prověřil hospodaření Správy úložišť radioaktivních odpadů (SÚRAO) v letech 2014 až 2019. Zaměřil se i na přípravu hlubinného úložiště radioaktivního odpadu a na výdaje, které s ní souvisí.
