Clean mobility is developing in the Czech Republic, however, it continues to lag behind the European average
The support provided by the Ministry of Transport (MoT) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) between the years 2019 and 2025 has contributed to the development of clean mobility — that is, low-emission transportation — in the Czech Republic. However, the number of electric vehicles in the Czech Republic continues to lag behind the European average.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic and the UAE Accountability Authority
Miloslav Kala, President of the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic, and HE Humaid Obaid Abushibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at the SAO headquarters in Prague to promote cooperation in the field of public sector auditing.
Memorandum o porozumění mezi NKÚ a Úřadem pro audit Spojených arabských emirátů
Prezident NKÚ Miloslav Kala a Jeho Excelence Humaid Obaid Abushibs, předseda Úřadu pro audit Spojených arabských emirátů, podepsali ve čtvrtek 18. června 2026 v sídle NKÚ v Praze memorandum o porozumění na podporu spolupráce v oblasti auditu veřejného sektoru.
Čistá mobilita se v ČR rozvíjí, ale zaostává za evropským průměrem. Některé cíle související s dobíjením elektromobilů zatím nebyly splněny
Podpora, kterou poskytly Ministerstvo dopravy a Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu v letech 2019 až 2025, přispěla k rozvoji čisté mobility, tedy k nízkoemisní dopravě v ČR. Avšak počet elektromobilů v Česku zaostává za evropským průměrem.

The SAO Board Members, Radovan Suchánek (aged 53) and Josef Kott (aged 55), took their oaths of office on Thursday, 18 June 2026, before Tomio Okamura, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, and thus assumed their new positions.

The introduction of the European Train Control System has improved safety, but has not yet led to faster service or increased track capacity
Unlike in many other EU countries, the railway signalling systems in the Czech Republic were outdated and did not allow for the control of train movements or the ability to intervene in their operation. The ongoing gradual integration of the European Train Control System (ETCS) onto Czech railways is expected to bring about a positive change.
