Annual meeting of the Contact Committee in Lithuania
On October 10–11, 2013, the annual meeting of representatives of supreme audit institutions of EU countries and European Court of Auditors took place in Vilnius, Lithuania. On the meeting agenda were outcomes of working groups, which had been established by the Contact Committee, as well as new goals for the future period.

ŘSD zaplatilo za právní služby za tři roky 357 milionů korun
Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad se zaměřil na hospodaření Ředitelství silnic a dálnic ČR od roku 2010 do března roku 2013. Kontroloři prověřili výdaje generálního ředitelství, ředitelství závodů Praha a Brno a ředitelství správ Jihlava, Karlovy Vary, Pardubice a Plzeň. Kontrolovali například náklady na výpočetní techniku, kancelářský materiál, na úklid nebo na právní, poradenské a konzultační služby.

CZK 2,900 million spent on data boxes in period 2009–2012
The Supreme Audit Office performed an audit of funds spent on the purchase and operation of the system of data boxes, which had been provided and administered by the state enterprise Czech Post. The number of created data boxes amounted to 504,000 during the audited period 2009–2012. Datové schránky stály za čtyři roky 2,9 miliardy korun
Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad se zaměřil na systém datových schránek, který dodala a spravuje Česká pošta. Pořízení a provoz systému od roku 2009 do roku 2012 stály 2,9 miliardy korun. Za tu dobu vzniklo 504 tisíc datových schránek. Například v roce 2012 zaplatil stát za poslání 45 milionů zpráv 803 milionů korun. Jedna zpráva tak vyšla v průměru na víc než 17 korun. Od roku 2013 pak stát platí České poště ročně…

The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and its final accounts, financial statements, and closing accounts submitted for the year 2012. The audit report states that 2012 final accounts of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs failed to give true and fair view of the subject of accounting and the Ministry’s financial position as bad evidence amounted to CZK 11,000 million.
