Návštěva japonské delegace na NKÚ
Dne 14. října 2015 navštívili Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad představitelé japonského parlamentu v doprovodu zástupce Rady pro audit a zástupce Ministerstva pro vnitřní záležitosti a komunikaci. Sedmičlennou delegaci vedl pan Takashi ISHIZEKI, předseda kontrolního výboru Sněmovny reprezentantů Japonska.

The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) audited the Ministry of Agriculture and its management of water supply and waste water treatment and also scrutinized funds that were utilized in development and reconstruction projects in this area within the period from 2009 to 2015. At selected municipalities and water management companies, auditors scrutinized how the funds were utilized.

Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad se zaměřil na to, jakým způsobem Ministerstvo zemědělství v letech 2009 až 2015 řídilo oblast vodovodů a kanalizací a jak rozdělovalo peníze na jejich výstavbu a obnovu. U konkrétních obcí a vodohospodářských společností pak kontroloři prověřili, jak peníze využívaly. NKÚ zkontroloval 22 akcí za 1,2 miliardy korun, z čehož polovinu tvořily peníze ze státního rozpočtu.

Administration of excise duties on tobacco and alcohol drinks improved, but serious risks remained. New check bands did not meet expectations
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) scrutinized tax authorities and the administration of excise duties on tobacco and alcohol from 2011 to 2014. According to an estimate made by the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, annual tax evasion of the tobacco and alcohol excise duties ranged from CZK 1,000 million to CZK 2,000 million during the audited period.

The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) carried out an audit of management of EU funds in the Czech Republic at the Ministry of Education and at the Ministry of Agriculture. Auditors scrutinized data included in annual accounts, financial statements, and closing accounts of the State budget headings for the year 2014.

Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad prověřil, jak Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy (MŠMT) a Ministerstvo zemědělství vykazují údaje o prostředcích přijatých ze zahraničí. Zaměřil se na informace uvedené v účetních závěrkách, finančních výkazech a závěrečných účtech těchto rozpočtových kapitol za rok 2014.

Těchonín Biodefense Centre remains unfinished after 10 years of construction, cost CZK 2,900 million so far
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) scrutinized the Ministry of Defence and the State budget funds, which were utilized from 2002 to 2014 to ensure the national biological defence. A calculation was made by the SAO auditors, according to which the Ministry has spent for construction and operation of the new Těchonín Biodefense Centre CZK 2,900 million so far. Out of this amounts, auditors scrutinized more than CZK 274 million in details.
